5/29/08

So this week I'm super close to finish reading Flush. This book was seriously amazing. I don't know why they didn't give it an award. So far my favorite part was when Noah was on the Coral Queen trying to dump all of the dyes into the toilet. I also loved when Noah was fighting with a lady for the bathroom. I can't belive a 12 or 13 year old lost to a 80 year old grandma.Aha although it was quite entertaing to read. I couldn't stop laughing. I don't have a least favorite part of the book. All of it seems good to me. & if you don't like reading, you should try this book because it will change your point of view about books. It has everything you would expect in a good book. I plan on reading his other book called Hoot.

5/22/08.

Today the class started reading a new book. It's called Flush. It's sooooo good so far! I love it. I really like all of the characters. They are really unpredictable. You don't know what they are going to do next. My favorite character would probably have to be tied with Noah and Noah's dad. Noah because he's got that really funny humor that makes everyone laugh, and Noah's dad because when he gets ticked off he goes overboard with things. I couldn't believe that he sunk a boat! Haha that made me laugh real hard. I like alot of types of books, but I think this type of book is my favorite. I mean just reading 45 pages made me love it more than any book that I've read.

Reading Response. 5/1/08

I finished Jacob have I loved, and now I have moved onto the book called Flipped. So far this book is really cute.

It was the middle of second grade when Juli first heard that a person her age was going to move into her neighborhood, she became antsy and jumpy because all of the kids on her block were too old or too young for her. When she first saw Bryce, she knew it had to be love at first sight because of his shiny blond hair and round big blue eyes.

Bryce had opposite feelings of what Juli felt. When he first saw Juli she clibbed all over the boxes making muddy footprints and annoying her dad asking for help. He dashed inside to hide from her and her annoying self. He spent his first week hiding from Juli and watching T.V. Everytime she went over to his house, his dad had to make up an excuse for him so they couldn't play. She was literately obsessed with Byrce. As years pass on, he hopes and he prays that something different will happen so that she wouldn't be that girl that was so annoying and wouldn't stop obbsessing over him.

I love this book so far because it reminds me of when I was little and when I had my first crush. Haha good times. Of course I wasn't that obsessive over my first crush.

Reading Response

This is really great. At first Caroline and Louise were growing apart, but since a tradgic thing happend to both of them, they got closer. One of their neighbors, Auntie Buxton, had passed away. And since they were both very close to her they needed eatchother to comfort one another. I haven't read what happend next, but since they are getting a little closer, they are going to get alot closer or not.Or not. I'm going to read on next and see what happens next.
